RASMUSSEN: Fights for kids
I have known Rick Rasmussen for most of the past 20 years. During that time, I have witnessed him step up for the kids in the Coeur d’Alene School District on countless occasions. Whether it be spearheading the improvement of parks and athletic fields (Finucane, CHS), volunteering for life-changing youth programs, or raising money for school programs, Rick has always been courageously leading the charge to ensure students in our area get the educational opportunities they deserve.
Born and raised in CDA, Rick comes from a family of educators and uniquely understands how to make our school district the best it can be. Rick never says no to helping those in need and he never says no to doing what is right. He is honest, intelligent, caring and selfless. He is a very successful CEO and understands how to improve large organizations. I have watched him lead his team at Northwest Specialty through tremendous growth and success, while still generously donating time to serve on numerous volunteer boards in the community.
Rick is running for Zone 1 School Board Trustee for the right reasons — because he cares about the kids in here and understands they are the future leaders of this community. There are few individuals I would trust more than Rick to help shape the future of education for my kids and for yours. Please vote for Rick and support a leader that truly epitomizes the kind of leader we should all strive to be and need fighting for our kids.
