JACOBSON: Real roots in Post Falls
I am writing this letter to provide some important information as to why we should retain our current Post Falls Mayor Ron Jacobson. My family has lived in Post Falls for the past 20 years and we have known and worked with Mayor Jacobson on many projects, most of which were philanthropic. I know he did not make this decision to run for Mayor for another term lightly. His many supporters have encouraged him to continue with his important city efforts. Some of these supporters include the Post Falls Fraternal Order of Police, the CDA Regional Realtors, the North Idaho Republicans, DARI (Democrats and Republicans Together), and the NW Specialty Hospital CEO.
For those who aren’t aware, Mayor Jacobson is a third-generation resident, living in Post Falls the past 45 years. He raised his family here. He is very active in his local church and many other philanthropic and civic activities. Of the other two candidates, one moved to Post Falls from the East Coast seven years ago and the other one only recently changed his home address from Hayden to Post Falls. Post Falls needs a mayor who has been involved and lived here, not someone who moves here and tells us what changes they want.
Mayor Jacobson has a long list of his community/civic involvements, most recently attending and supporting the Post Falls Food Bank and St Vincent’s fundraisers. I ask everyone to consider thoughtfully who you will be voting for on Nov. 4. Please get out and vote.
