Fire engine dedication set for Oct. 30

The Coeur d’Alene Fire Department will dedicate its new fire engine at Fire Station 2, 3850 N. Ramsey Road, at noon Oct. 30.

"The new fire engine will be hosed down using our existing fire engine and then members of the public, department and City Council will push the engine into the fire house where it will be officially in service and responding to emergency calls for service," a press release said.

This fire engine was purchased with the 2025 general obligation bond funds and "is much needed to ensure readiness and reliability of our fleet," according to the release.
