Democrats collecting donations Saturday

The Kootenai County Democrats will be collecting donations for 3rd Avenue Marketplace in Post Falls and Community Action Partnership in Coeur d'Alene from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Ramsey Park’s south parking lot.

Requested items include nonperishable food, school supplies, diapers, gas gift cards and empty dozen-size egg cartons. Household essentials include toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent, and pet food.

“As Kootenai Democrats, our community food and supply drive is about more than meals — it’s about dignity,” said Kootenai County Democratic Central Committee Chair Sarah Martin. “Just as we work for policies that ensure every North Idahoan can thrive, we come together to make sure no neighbor is left hungry.”
