The Lake City High School Student Council is celebrating several of the Timberwolf Pack through October Recognitions.
Staff of the Month is Vice Principal Brandi Johnson, who always goes above and beyond for the school, Lake City Student Council members shared in a Tuesday announcement.
"We are so lucky to have her leading with kindness and enthusiasm — thank you, Mrs. Johnson, for everything you do for our Wolf Pack," the announcement said.
Teacher of the Month is Christopher Ward, who was recognized for his many contributions and help during homecoming festivities.
"As one of our newer teachers over the last couple of years, he’s jumped right in and become an incredible part of the Wolf Pack," the announcement said. "Thank you, Mr. Ward, for your enthusiasm and support — we’re so lucky to have you at Lake City."
Lake City's Athlete of the Month is the junior Archer James.
"As a dedicated varsity football player, Archer has shown amazing talent, teamwork and school spirit," the council shared. "At our very own homecoming game, he brought the crowd to their feet by scoring a huge touchdown! We appreciate and love him so much for everything he brings to the team and our school community — way to go, Archer!"
T-Wolf of the Month is junior Emerson Hayes.
"Emerson is not only a talented and dedicated band member, but he truly embodies the spirit of the Wolf Pack," the announcement said. "He went above and beyond by reaching out and organizing to have the pep band play at powderpuff, which brought so much energy and excitement to the game. Way to go, Emerson!"
