ELECTION: Vote to protect public schools

With HB 93, Idaho’s public school funding has been gutted — redirecting our tax dollars away from public schools and into private programs that lack transparency, accountability, and equal access. And who pays the price? Our students. Especially rural students, students with disabilities, and families who rely on public schools not just for education — but for meals, support, and opportunity.

Now more than ever, we must elect school board members who will fight for public education — leaders who will stand up for students, support teachers, and protect the resources our schools desperately need. Because the truth is:

• School boards control local priorities: curriculum decisions, teacher retention, classroom funding, and student support services.

• They shape the future of our communities: Strong public schools create strong towns, strong families, and a strong Idaho.

• They decide how budget cuts are handled:

When state politicians strip funds away, school boards decide what gets cut — music, sports, special education, teacher positions, or safety programs.

HB 93 is a political attack on public education. But school board elections give power back to us — the people. These are local races where just a few votes can decide who represents our children’s future.

Vote for school board members who:

• Believe in fully funded public schools

• Support teachers and staff

• Stand against political extremism in classrooms

• Put kids — not private interests — first

Our kids deserve more than underfunded classrooms and exhausted teachers. They deserve opportunity. Stability. Hope. And that starts with us showing up at the ballot box.
