WAR: Renaming the department a mistake

Is anyone besides me appalled at the renaming of the Department of Defense, to Department of War?

Have our current leaders not learned anything from our history of prolonged wars in foreign lands, beginning with Vietnam?

As Trump continues to undermine our democracy, and then piles on with this nonsense, including sending ground troops into Venezuela, we should all be wondering when Putin, Trump’s best friend, will be leading the good old USA.
