LOFFMAN: Shares city’s values
I read Damon Darakjy's letter mocking Debbie Loffman’s candidacy, and it struck me how out of touch some of our local insiders have become.
The writer suggested that running a business, managing employees, and serving the community somehow isn’t “real experience.” That’s the kind of thinking you get from people who’ve spent too long behind a desk in City Hall. From the kind of people that join with the liberals to condemn our community every chance they get
The letter also took a swipe at conservatives who care about faith, family, and the Constitution, as if those values are something to apologize for. In Coeur d’Alene, those values are what hold our community together.
The difference between Debbie Loffman and the current crowd at City Hall is that Debbie understands that leadership means standing with the people she represents, not lecturing them. She’s exactly the kind of steady, responsible voice the regular people of Coeur d’Alene need.
I will be voting for Debbie Loffman.
