COEUR d’ALENE — The Museum of North Idaho invites the community to celebrate the season at its second Harvest Festival from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

The festival will take place at the museum’s new downtown location and promises a day packed with live music, food, games and autumn fun for all ages.

Guests can enjoy pumpkin painting, face painting, old-fashioned games, carnival games and hands-on demonstrations from fur trade reenactors, a blacksmith and a traditional beading artist. Local craft vendors and food trucks will fill the grounds, along with a beer garden featuring local brews.

New this year, families can take a scenic hayride provided by Coeur d’Alene Tractor, offering a classic fall experience right in the heart of downtown.

In collaboration with the Arts and Culture Alliance, the festival will also feature a Historical Figure Pumpkin Carving Show, where local artists will bring prominent figures from America’s past to life through creative and intricate pumpkin carvings.

“We’re thrilled to welcome everyone back for our second annual Harvest Festival,” said Britt Thurman, executive director of the Museum of North Idaho. “It’s a wonderful way for the community to come together, celebrate local culture and enjoy the spirit of fall with something for everyone.”
