BROOKS: Solid guy, solid candidate

I’m writing this letter of support for Bill Brooks’ election to the Cd’A City Council. Bill is a long time ACTIVE resident of Coeur d’Alene. Bill was a County Commissioner for 6 years where he was, and still is solidly in favor of leaving the Fair Grounds right where it is. 

You may also remember that Bill wrote a help column in the Cd’A Press, “The Consumer Guy” for a number of years. An endeavor he undertook without PAY. Bill’s column generated many thank you letters to the Press, telling of the help that Bill provided. Bill was a successful real estate broker. 

Another gift to the community was his shotgun coaching. Again, Bill invested quite a bit of his time and his money and travel to become a “Level III” skeet instructor. Usually it costs a pretty penny for those lessons, Bill gave them for free to many skeet shooters. Bill honorably served our country in the Army Security Agency in South East Asia during the Vietnam War.

A pretty solid guy with a long honorable history of serving people.
