PROCLAMATION: Why no day for fallen firefighters?

Mayor McEvers, where is our remembrance day for our fallen firefighters? Remember, the ones who were lured in, selflessly came running to save our community only to be ambushed and murdered. Where are our memorials or monuments in the city center for all who visit our community to see and honor them? Why has our City Council not rapidly enacted a remembrance day for these men and families forever changed? 

I am disgusted by the lack of effort for our very own while other topics seem to be much more important to our City Council and mayor. I am extremely disappointed, and I can only hope there are big works in the making behind the scenes that the public is not able to see at the moment. RIP Battalion Chiefs Harwood and Morrison, you deserve better from your community leaders.
