Kirk 'Day of Remembrance' at City Park

A Day of Remembrance for Charlie Kirk is scheduled at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Coeur d'Alene City Park.

The gathering aims to honor Charlie’s life and legacy on his birthday, according to organizer Candlelight Christian Fellowship.

"Come for worship, prayer, communion, and reflection as we remember a faithful servant who stood boldly for truth and left a lasting impact for Christ," a flyer said.

Kirk, a conservative activist and co-founder of Turning Point USA, was shot and killed while speaking at Utah Valley University on Sept. 10.
