KCRCC: Opponents must unify
I am a local independent voter who is deeply concerned with what I know the KCRCC will do if they gain control over the city council. My message to all of the existing city leadership is to please select a single anti-KCRCC candidate that we can all get behind to become our next mayor.
Please overcome your pride, squabbles or whatever it is that is happening right now and just do what is in the best interest for the voters who do not want KCRCC to take control of our fair city. If we are divided between three candidates to oppose the single KCRCC candidate, then we are destined to lose.
I have proudly lived here most of my life and I fear that we will lose what makes Cd’A a great place to live if we allow KCRCC candidates to win. If the KCRCC candidates win, then our amazing parks department, library, garbage and snow removal, police force, fire department, street department and so on could become politicized and destroyed exactly like what is happening at a national level. Without a single clear anti-KCRCC candidate we are doomed!
So, my request is that all of the local political organizations endorse the same anti-KCRCC candidate for mayor and then we will know how to most effectively make our anti-KCRCC vote count in a month and win the mayoral election!
