DePRIEST: Advocate for Hayden citizens

If you live in Hayden and care about keeping our “small town feel”, please vote for Ed DePriest for City Council, Seat 2, in the upcoming election in November.

Ed has been an effective advocate for the citizens of Hayden for the past four years. Our concerns have been Growth, Density and Traffic. Ed has put forward four changes to the city’s zoning code, resulting in zero high density developments. He also returned the “Context of Neighborhood” to the Standards of Approval for developments, allowing neighbors a bigger voice. As a result, the city has been able to better manage growth and density.

Ed understands how local government works and how the state’s regulations limit what can be done at the city level. He also continues to stay in touch with voters’ concerns, holding a series of town hall style meetings.

Ed advocates for public involvement, including letting Hayden voters decide how to fund law enforcement.

By staying informed and responsive to citizens’ concerns, Ed has been an excellent city councilman, helping to keep the “small town feel” as much as possible. Please join me in voting for Ed DePriest for Hayden City Council, Seat 2, in November. He will continue to prioritize the issues and concerns that matter to the citizens.
