Sandpoint man injured in Thursday crash

SAGLE — A Bonner County man was injured in a single-vehicle crash that occurred just before 1:46 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 2, on U.S. 95 in Sagle, according to Idaho State Police.

The crash happened on U.S 95 near milepost 469 in Sagle. A 32-year-old man from Sandpoint — the sole occupant — was northbound on the highway in a white 2022 Ford F-350 when he lost control and entered the northbound ditch, ISP officials said in a press release. The vehicle struck several small buildings and a power pole before coming to a stop at a business.

The driver was wearing a seat belt and was transported to Bonner General Hospital.

The crash remains under investigation by Idaho State Police. Assisting agencies included the Bonner County Sheriff’s Office, Selkirk Fire Department and Bonner EMS.
