| October 1, 2025 1:00 AM

The Coeur d’Alene Resort’s beloved Whiskey Barrel Weekend returns Oct. 3–4, marking its seventh year of lakeside tastings, live entertainment and unforgettable experiences for whiskey lovers.

Friday, Oct. 3, begins with a VIP Tastemakers Social (complimentary for overnight guests), featuring pours from Maker’s Mark, Browne, and Rainfire distilleries. That evening, the Front Lawn comes alive with Cigars & Guitars — an outdoor evening of acoustic music, whiskey tastings, light bites, and hand-rolled cigars ($70 per ticket, 21+).

Saturday, Oct. 4, kicks off with the Maker’s Mark Open Golf Tournament ($225 per golfer) followed by the debut of the Taste & Tour at Rainfire Distillery, an exclusive behind-the-scenes adventure with tastings and round-trip transportation for overnight guests.

The weekend culminates with the Whiskey Tasting Main Event, where guests can explore 50+ premium whiskeys, enjoy gourmet bites and join Barrel Talk with whiskey ambassadors ($85 per ticket, 21+).

For those wanting to sip beyond the main events, Resort restaurants will offer a limited-edition whiskey flight showcasing this year’s private select batches from Rainfire and Maker’s Mark.

Overnight guests can enhance their experience with special packages, including the Single Barrel Package (Oct. 3) and Double Barrel Package (Oct. 4), pairing accommodations with discounted event tickets.

“We’re thrilled to welcome guests back for Whiskey Barrel Weekend,” said Amy VanSickle, event manager. “This year’s lineup is our biggest yet.”

Tickets and packages are available at cdaresort.com.
