Eggleston, a junior, won the Lake Spokane Invitational on Saturday, finishing in 19 minutes, 24.60 seconds, winning the event by 30 seconds and leading the Tigers to the team title. “Lola ran over 300 miles this summer,” Timberlake cross country coach Shawn Lawler said. “She discovered getting engaged early in races, staying relaxed in the middle stages, then pushing hard the final mile works well. She executed her plan perfectly on Saturday.”
