NIR: Worthy of praise
Brent Regan tends to elevate himself to some imagined morally righteous position by pointing his dirty finger at the actions of other people who don’t worship him. As the Kootenai County chair, his denigration of fellow Republicans is non-befitting of his role.
Knowledge is a shared spark; it travels from one person to another. Allow me to share some personal knowledge about members of the North Idaho Republicans.
Committed to ensure we live in a healthy and thriving community, and to ensure our local Republican Party represents principled and virtuous intent, the NIR organization came to be.
NIR is comprised of bridge-builders who deserve your respect and appreciation for their service to our community and the Republican Party. NIR members have been Republican-elected officials. They have served our country in the military. They have served our community as law enforcement officers, attorneys, college professors, doctors, nurses, and many other professions. They have been builders, bank presidents, accountants and financial managers. They have owned many local longstanding successful businesses who have employed many.
NIR members have volunteered to serve on school boards, on numerous nonprofit boards and on church boards. They stepped up to protect North Idaho College from losing its accreditation under the direction of KCRCC-recommended trustees. Kootenai County is an attractive place to live because of their selfless investments, and their desire to contribute to your well-being. They have built this community that you love.
Wisdom is acquired by listening clearly, searching deeply and evaluating the information received. Define and judge NIR members by their honorable deeds, not Regan’s betrayal and bullying tactics.
