Free 'shutdown' slices on Tuesday

To help locals affected by the government shutdown, Papa Johns will be giving away 600 free large slices of pizza from 3 to 5 p.m. Tuesday.

The giveaway will take place at 180 W. Hayden Ave., Hayden and 112 E. Seltice Way Suite A, Post Falls.

“Community has always been at the heart of what we do,” said Preston House, owner of Papa Johns Spokane Valley. “We want to do our part to make sure our neighbors know we’re here for them — not just as a business, but as fellow members of this community.”
