HAYDEN: Candidate thanks friends and neighbors

The election has ended, the people have spoken, and although we did not prevail, I want to thank everyone who supported this effort. This race was unlike anything Hayden had seen in years. The smear campaigns, personal attacks, and coordinated misinformation aimed at me — and at conservative candidates across Kootenai County — were dishonest, destructive, and beneath what our community deserves.

But we stayed focused on the truth. We stood for transparency, accountability, and civil leadership. And I remain proud of the campaign we ran.

I am grateful to every person who stood with me, volunteered, prayed, donated, or refused to be intimidated by political bullying. You showed real courage.

I may not be taking a seat on the council this term, but I am not going anywhere. I will continue advocating for open government, responsible growth, and Hayden’s small-town values. And I will keep speaking out when elected officials misuse their positions or mislead the public.
