COMPROMISE: Conservatives should never

Since the Charlie Kirk assassination, there have been loud cries by many to compromise and work together to solve our differences in a rational way. It would be wonderful if that could happen — but, in my opinion, it never will. Why not? Because there are non-negotiables. Conservatives simply think differently. If millions of leftist/socialists say or do foolish things, they are still foolish things. So please follow along on a few issues:

• Abortion: Would I ever consent to taking the life of an unborn baby, other than to save the mother’s life? Never!

• Open borders: We have just escorted up to 20 million illegal immigrants into our country and there’s crime, bloodshed and chaos throughout our land. Legal and vetted? Welcome! Illegal? Never!

• Mutilation of young people to change gender: A life of regret and pain for them. Never!

• Boys participation in girls sports: This is too outrageous to even discuss. Compromise? Never!

• Illegal immigrants receiving free medical care or any other benefit that hard-working Americans must pay for: Never, not one dime!

• No ID to vote: Only a political party with plans to cheat would even bring this to the table. Bad, bad idea. Never!

I really can’t think of even one issue that I could compromise on or negotiate with a leftist/socialist, but to be fair, I will continue with an open mind. 

To sum it all up, to compromise with leftist/socialists on these non-negotiables would be to disregard common sense and abandon conservative beliefs and the support of what is right, just, fair and decent. Nope, can’t do it! Don’t go along to get along.
