JACOBSON: Former police chief endorses

I recently retired as chief of police after serving the city of Post Falls for 36 years. With that perspective, I am asking you to join me in supporting the re-election of Mayor Ron Jacobson.

Having worked closely with city leadership over the decades, I have seen firsthand the difference that strong, experienced and ethical leadership makes. Mayor Jacobson has guided Post Falls through times of challenge and change, including the COVID-19 pandemic, rapid population growth and evolving state legislation that impacts city funding. Under his leadership, Post Falls has remained financially stable, attracted quality businesses and maintained low taxes while continuing to support essential services, especially public safety.

Mayor Jacobson is a man of integrity and sound judgment who consistently puts the needs of our community first. He has respect of city staff, a deep record of community service, and decades of financial expertise that have benefited our city in measurable ways.

Post Falls is strong, safe and fiscally responsible; a reflection of the steady leadership we have in Mayor Ron Jacobson. Let’s continue that progress by re-electing the proven leader who has lived in Kootenai County his whole life and truly cares about our community.
