COEUR TERRE: Will harm established neighborhoods

Once again, Coeur Terre has raised its ugly head, and one of the issues is, of course, ingress and egress regarding the Indian Meadows subdivision, which also affects the Northshire subdivision adjacent to Indian Meadows where we have lived for 39 years. (I believe Nez Perce Drive with all the beautiful trees, and which boarders both subdivisions, is another choice for ingress and egress, despite the fact that it is already a busy street and houses a park, pickleball/tennis courts and dog park, which are all heavily utilized).

It seems unnecessary to me to upset these old, established neighborhoods for access to and from Coeur Terre when Huetter is readily available as well as the recent expansion of Hanley. Funneling traffic through the older neighborhoods to Atlas only causes more traffic issues.

As I have addressed in a prior letter to the editor, we already have to wait sometimes for 25-plus cars before being able to access Atlas from these existing subdivisions.

To me, it is the responsibility of the developers to cause as little change to the existing areas as possible and that has definitely not been thought out very well.
