POST FALLS — Two Parks and Recreation Department members were recently honored by the Idaho Recreation and Parks Association.
Recreation Supervisor Jason Wiley received the Dr. Leon Green Fellowship Award, which is the highest honor of its kind given by the IRPA. The award is presented to those who have shown exceptional leadership and activity in the field of parks and recreation as a tribute to Green's legacy, a press release said.
Parks Manager Bryan Myers received the Professional of Excellence Award for Parks, Trails and Conservation. The award recognizes individuals who have made significant and lasting impacts on parks and trails in the community and are committed to continuing that high level of service in the future, according to the release.
