North Idaho nonprofits to benefit from National Children’s Day

| May 25, 2025 1:00 AM

Children’s Day will host an event that will benefit some North Idaho nonprofits from noon to 8 p.m. Saturday, June 7.

Families, neighbors, nonprofits and local businesses will gather at Valley Mission Park in Spokane Valley for National Children’s Day 2025, "a community-powered celebration inspired by the hearts and imaginations of our children," a press release said.

Music, food, games and other activities will be part of the fun.

"This isn’t just a festival; it’s a real call to action," the release said. "It's a high-energy day of joy and imagination that invites us to show up for our children, strengthen the bonds that keep us grounded, and build a future where hope, happiness, and community thrive."

Proceeds will be donated to eight local nonprofits, including Family Promise of North Idaho, Canopy Village in Coeur d'Alene, Autism Society of North Idaho and Kiwanis Pacific Northwest.

Tickets are $10 for adults. Toddlers are free.
