International host, former resident returns for Fashion Week
Fashion, elegance and hometown pride will come together as international award-winning host and designer Ms. World Traveler Kerry Damiano returns to Coeur d’Alene for its upcoming Fashion Week, which starts Sunday at The Coeur d'Alene Resort.
A former Coeur d'Alene resident and entrepreneur, Damiano will debut her latest fashion and jewelry designs during the event, marking a full-circle moment in her globe-spanning career.
“With family and friends still here, Coeur d'Alene holds a special place in my heart,” Damiano said in a news release. “It’s a great honor to be featured alongside such talented local designers.”
Damiano’s showcase will include high-profile pieces worn on national and global stages, such as Miss Idaho USA Kaitlyn Widmyer’s evening gown and interview outfit, as well as designs worn by Mrs. Queen of the World Jennifer Lloyd at the Global Beauty Awards. Each outfit will be paired with custom-designed matching earrings.
Damiano previously served as a board member and shareholder of two local companies in the Coeur d’Alene area. She founded Ms. World Traveler to inspire women to embrace solo travel, empower themselves through adventure and support local artisans and businesses.
Ms. World Traveler has received multiple accolades, including Titan Women in Business Award for Outstanding Achievement in Promoting Women-Owned Small Businesses; AVA Digital Award for On-Camera Talent; Global Beauty Award for Best Content; and the Vega Digital Award for Outstanding Digital Content.
Additionally, Damiano is the recipient of the Legacy Award for over 25 years of contribution to the pageant industry, Best Pageant Coach, Best Sponsor, Best Pageant Judge, Brand Ambassador and Best Forever Titleholder at the Global Beauty Awards. She has been involved in pageantry since 1981.
