WATER: So much wasted
If there is any privilege in this country … it’s the privilege of having clean water. There’s no color attached to who has access, use of it, multiple ways to enjoy it and hasn’t consumed it recently. Although when it comes to abuse, waste and failure to know just how lucky we are, it can be said all colors are marching hand in hand waving the privilege high and proud. As I drove around last 3-4 days working in and while it was raining, I couldn’t help but notice how many sprinkler systems were running.
You thinking who cares? So same time as its raining (over .5 inches in last 72 hours) along with being middle of day (worst time of day to be watering) is the most ignorant, wasteful, idiotic privilege flaunting activity that exists in society today. Well let’s include broken sprinkler heads, out of adjustment patterns and running for way longer then is efficient for the task. I’m the last person who would want to push to make another city code or law or rule to enforce which always has an attached fine (a fine to keep community safe of course) to fix a problem that is unfixable. You can’t fix stupid but I can’t listen to endless brainwashing mk ultra media on electric cars, solar power and carbon footprints while the most essential need of any living thing is wasted, polluted with chemicals and fertilizers for growing grass which is useless, good for nothing other than “oh look at my yard.”
