Realtors ready to build ramps

Coeur d’Alene Regional Realtors is launching a new initiative to construct home access ramps for homeowners in need across Kootenai, Shoshone and Benewah counties.

"This effort aims to enhance mobility and safety for seniors, veterans and individuals with disabilities," a press release said. "With support from member Realtors and community members, CRR plans to build multiple ramps this summer and fall."

These ramps will provide access for homeowners who face daily challenges entering and exiting their homes.

“With all life’s challenges, getting in and out of your home should not be one,” said Keith Pitsch, Coeur d’Alene Regional Realtors spokesman. “Helping our community members safely come and go from their homes is what the Ramp-athon is all about.”

Apply online at www.CDARealtors.com or stop by 409 W. Neider Ave. and pick up a paper application.

Applications are due May 30.

This initiative is part of CRR’s mission to engage with the community in an impactful way that improves living conditions for residents.
