Concert production internship open to local students

| May 16, 2025 1:00 AM

High school students interested in the music industry, event planning or arts management are invited to apply for an internship with KOEP Concerts, a music promoter and event producer based in Coeur d’Alene.

KOEP Concerts presents three community-driven local concert series: the Coeur d’Alene City Park shows, which have been a Sunday tradition since 1996, Music at McEuen and the Hayden Summer Concert Series. These concerts bring free live music to North Idaho.

Applicants must be high school students between the ages of 14 and 18 years old. Students of all backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

The internship is unpaid, with potential for performance-based incentives.

Intern duties and responsibilities may include concert promotion and marketing, event coordination and production assistance, artist and vendor coordination and administrative and office support.

“This internship provides students with an excellent introduction to the music industry, allowing them to explore various aspects of live event production while contributing to the success of KOEP Concerts’ events in the local community,” a news release said.

To apply, students must submit a resume highlighting their relevant skills and interests, as well as a short cover letter explaining why they’re interested in the internship and how it aligns with their future goals. Students may also submit a portfolio or sample of any past work related to music, event planning or social media, though this is not required.

Submit application materials to michael@koepconcerts.com.
