HIGHWAY: Noise barrier removed

I felt bad for the guy on Seventh Street that needs the speed limit lowered (or enforced) to cut some of the road noise and danger. I know how he feels. The State Highway just opted to cut the natural noise barrier (about a hundred trees) off the east side of the freeway and the road noise has increased threefold. Now we can hear the traffic from the moment they slow for the Sherman exit (or don’t) til they exit (or don’t) at 15th Street!
