Grand opening of Houston TX Hot Chicken in Post Falls set for Saturday

POST FALLS — National chain Houston TX Hot Chicken will open the doors of its first location in North Idaho on Saturday.

The grand opening event is slated for noon to 3 p.m. at 870 N. Highway 41. The day's events include a $1,000 "Houston, We Have a Problem" Spice Contest, an exotic car meet and complementary food and drinks for the first 250 guests. 

The Post Falls location will serve the full HHC menu, including favorites like their Cheesy Hot Chicken Sandwich, Texas Caeser Salad, Fusion Fries and Chicken Tenders. 

HHC also has locations in Arizona, California, Nevada, Washington, Texas, Utah and one location in southern Idaho. 

Regular hours will be 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 10:30 a.m. to midnight Friday and Saturday.
