ENDORSEMENT: Vote for Lippert, levies

| May 7, 2025 1:00 AM

I’m proud to support Michelle Lippert for the Community Library Network Board of Trustees.

Michelle and I served on school boards at the same time — she in Post Falls, and I in Coeur d’Alene. As a new trustee, I often turned to Michelle when I had questions. She offered guidance rooted in experience, calm leadership, and common sense. She is a voice of reason I trust.

Michelle served 24 years on the Post Falls School Board and taught philosophy at North Idaho College for 26 years. She’s been recognized as Board Chair of the Year by the Idaho School Boards Association. Michelle leads with integrity.

In later years, we attended NIC board meetings together and saw how chaos can quickly take hold when a board loses sight of its purpose. Michelle understands what good governance looks like — and why it matters.

She’s also a strong advocate for parental rights. Michelle believes in empowering parents, not limiting them. She supports library policies that reflect transparency, access, and respect for all families.

Michelle is committed to restoring library hours and services, defending intellectual freedom, and ensuring libraries remain welcoming and well-run. That kind of steady, experienced leadership is exactly what our community needs.

If Michelle Lippert is on your ballot, vote for her!

Also — please vote yes on area school levies and fire bonds.

A thriving community needs strong libraries, schools, and fire departments. Vote Michelle. Vote Yes.
