TARIFFS: They put America first

Unfair tariffs toward America by most countries throughout the world have been the standard. In short, we’ve been snookered (stupid). Clinton, Obama and Biden all railed against unfair trade practices but did absolutely nothing to fix it — big talk, big hat, no cattle! The fact is, other countries get rich at our expense, especially China. America has closed thousands of factories and millions of jobs have gone elsewhere.

So along comes Trump, a president with a brain, a backbone and common sense, putting America first. Makes sense to me. But not to Democrats/socialists, who put America last. They claim America is rude and unkind to our great trading partners and allies — Canada, Mexico, Europe, etc. Whoa, these countries have been ripping us off for decades and yep, the party is over, pal! There should be great joy and jubilation throughout the land, dancing in the streets — but no, the Democrats/socialists complain about everything and fix nothing, they walk in lock step and use talking points in unison.

They are so proud of Cory Booker, an ultra-liberal who filibustered for 25 hours straight, fearmongering and spewing hate and anger. They call the tariffs destructive and portray Trump and Musk as power grabbers. If saving untold billions of dollars in government waste, fraud and abuse is power grabbing, then all I can say is “Keep on grabbin’.” Other topics — appointed Federal judges should never, ever be able to stop a duly-elected president from administering his agenda. After the past four years, Democrats/socialists should never hold the presidency again. I’m thinking Trump should seriously look at a third term and wouldn’t he look so cool on Mt. Rushmore!
