Tucker, a senior, won the state 6A wrestling championship on March 1, beating Rocky Mountain sophomore Tyler Irish by pin in 3 minutes, 49 seconds in the 157-pound final at ICCU Dome in Pocatello. “He was just dominant all weekend and wrestled outstanding,” Coeur d’Alene coach Jeff Moffat said. “It was good to see the fruits of his labor pay off. He’s a student of the game and wanted to be a state champion. Two years ago, he changed some things about his conditioning and really has had a good year.”
