'Best Legs' contest on Saturday

The 13th annual "Best Legs in a Kilt Contest" is scheduled 3 p.m. Saturday at All Things Irish, 315 Sherman Ave.

It is free and open to men, women and kids. 

Contestants will be judged in several areas, including fashion of kilt at the knee; leg apparel; how you walk and make the kilt sway; appearance of legs beneath the kilt; overall physical appearance and impression of stature in a kilt.

The winner will receive a special "Certificate of Declaration" with honors as "Best Legs in a Kilt for 2025" and a gift certificate.

The event is part of Irish-themed fun leading to the annual St. Patrick's Day Parade in downtown Coeur d'Alene at 3 p.m. March 15.
