SURPRISE GIFT: I’ll never forget the kindness

I recently was hospitalized with COVID over my 82nd birthday.

While I was being released, a lady noticed it was my birthday. She and a friend went down one elevator, and I in a wheelchair went down in another.

To my utter surprise she was waiting at the bottom floor and gave me the yellow roses and candy that she had brought for another patient. Since that patient had already checked out, she thought I should have them. I’ll never forget her kindness!
