Emergency water shutdown for some residents announced in Post Falls

POST FALLS — As of 9:53 a.m. Monday, city officials in the water division announced an emergency shutdown for residents along the northern part Mullan Avenue, between Idaho Street and Syringa Street.

UPDATE: As of 11:17 a.m., water has been temporarily restored with reduced volume/pressure to customers in the affected area.

The water division will shut water off later today to complete a mainline repair.
