Free GED classes offered through NIC

Summer GED classes are open for enrollment at the North Idaho College Adult Education Center locations in Coeur d’Alene and Sandpoint.

All tuition and instructional materials are provided for free. New student orientation and placement testing are available.

Students will receive instruction and can work with an instructor in a more personalized setting than traditional lectures, a press release said.

Summer classes are offered from July 1 through Aug. 28.

Coeur d'Alene classes are held Monday through Thursday on the second floor of the Molstead Library on NIC's Coeur d’Alene campus, with morning and afternoon/evening options available. Call the NIC Adult Education Center at 208-665-5099 for orientation scheduling.

After orientation, students will meet with an advisor to complete a skills review and schedule classes. There are also online learning options.
