DEQ awards $2.8M to Harrison

BOISE — The Idaho Department of Environmental Quality on Thursday awarded $2.9 million in low-interest drinking water emerging contaminant construction loan funding to the city of Harrison.

The funding will be used to address manganese contamination in the drinking water source through planning, design and construction efforts.
