Free pet vaccination clinic, microchip services offered at Post Falls event

POST FALLS — Better Together Animal Alliance and Post Falls Animal Shelter are providing free microchip and vaccine services from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the shelter, 1725 E. Polston Ave.

Complimentary cat and dog food will be available.

Dogs must be on a leash and cats in carriers.

During the clinic, staff and volunteers will assist pet owners in registering their pets' information as part of the microchipping process and provide vaccinations. Microchips help reunite lost pets with their owners.

"We are grateful for the support of ASPCA's Northern Tier Shelter Initiative and Petco Love's national vaccination initiative, which make these services possible," Better Together Executive Director Mandy Evans said.
