Fanciful flyers will showcase skills in Coeur d'Alene air show
The P-51 Mustang is a famous WWII-era aircraft known for its engine's distinct sound. Private flights are being offered for purchase through the Erickson Collection's website as part of the Coeur d’Alene Aviation Air Show and Expo at Pappy Boyington Field.

Renny Price is a retired airline captain based south of Portland, Oregon and has logged over 23,000 hours since his first flight in 1969. When he is not performing in air shows, he flies an Astra private jet. For aerial displays, he flies the Sukhoi-29, an aircraft considered to be the best two-place unlimited competition aircraft in the world today. Price will be performing in the air show Saturday in Hayden.

HAYDEN — Aviation fans will be flying high with the Coeur d’Alene Aviation Air Show and Expo coming to Pappy Boyington Field on Saturday.
An F4U Corsair, which is the same plane Pappy Boyington flew, and a P-51 Mustang will be part of the Erickson Collection from Madras, Ore., and will be highlighted during the celebration of aerial performances and displays.
