KCSO to host free community partnership BBQ

COEUR d'ALENE — The Kootenai County Sheriff's Office is holding a free barbecue from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday in the Black Sheep Sporting Goods parking lot at the Silver Lake Mall.

It includes K-9 demos, drone team, first-responder equipment, SWAT response vehicle, and a chance to meet Kootenai County Fire and Rescue teams and a vendor fair.

KCSO's recruiting team will be on site to answer questions about career opportunities in the department.

"Come and learn about how and why we operate the way that we do," a press release said.
