Coeur d’Alene seeks input on grant priorities
The city of Coeur d’Alene is seeking recommendations for a Community Development Block Grant.
CDBG funds support initiatives that benefit low- and moderate-income residents and neighborhoods, prevent or eliminate slum and blight and address urgent development needs, a press release said.
In addition to a survey, a public forum is scheduled for 4 p.m. June 25, City Hall, Conference Room 6. Staff will discuss how CDBG funds were utilized in previous years and gather input on needs and spending priorities for Plan Year 2025, which begins Oct. 1.
The draft plan will be available for review and comment from July 3 through Aug. 5. It is at www.cdaid.org/cdbg or at City Hall.
The City Council will hold a public hearing at 6 p.m. Aug. 5 in the Coeur d'Alene Library Community Room.
