AIRSHOW: June 28 in Coeur d’Alene

| June 15, 2025 1:00 AM

As a longtime pilot in North Idaho, I was surprised It’s been over 20 years since North Idaho has hosted a full-scale airshow. Now, thanks to Kirk Lauer at Coeur d’ Alene Aviation, locals will be treated to a professionally-run, family-fun, event on June 28 at the Coeur d’Alene Airport with top aerobatic talent, historic planes, cool exhibits, and the opportunity to hop a ride in a P-51 Mustang.

Although not involved in this event, our nonprofit looks forward to sharing this exciting aviation experience with the community and are offering to buy up to four tickets for a family or group of friends. The first to email to the Col. Buck Flyer’s Foundation, explaining why you want to attend (named for local aviator and USAF Fighter Pilot Buck Bender to support young aviators) will get four tickets on us. Col. Bender would be proud — especially since we’ve heard there may be a fighter jet at the show.
