Fuel mitigation work begins on Tubbs Hill

A crew began fuel mitigation work on Tubbs Hill on Thursday.
The grant-funded project, more than two years in the planning, aims to reduce fire risks and improve forest health on Tubbs Hill.
Branches, brush and snags will be thinned and cleared over the next four to six weeks.
