D-DAY: Hardly mentioned in Press

I am sitting here in my home having just finished reading the Friday, June 6 edition of the Post Falls Press. I am both saddened and appalled that the ONLY mention of D-Day June 6, 1941, are three paragraphs in the “Today in History” section. Oh… and the PEANUTS by Charles Schultz comic strip. The strip depicts Snoopy swimming ashore through battle debris, with the caption, June 6, 1941 “TO REMEMBER.”

Without the sacrifices of all those brave soldiers that fought and died that day, I might not have been able to read my paper today, on June 6, 2025. Maybe the people that decide what is important to print, such as one.
