LEGION BASEBALL: Expos rally past Lums 'AA'
COEUR d’ALENE — Coeur d’Alene jumped out to a 4-0 lead after three innings, but it was all Expos (Hughes) 18U after that as the visitors came from behind for a 7-4 victory over the Lumbermen “AA” squad Monday night at Thorco Field.
Travis Usdrowski drove in two runs for Coeur d’Alene (6-6), including an RBI double as part of a three-run third inning that boosted the Lums’ lead to 4-0. Vinny Lapresta had an RBI single for Coeur d’Alene in the third.
Brady Coulter of the Expos delivered a two-run single to break a 4-all tie as the visitors scored three times in the top of the seventh. Coulter scored on a single by Ethan McLaughlin.
Coeur d’Alene returns to action Thursday at the Dwight Church Memorial Tournament in Lewiston opening vs. the Benz Boys at 7:30 p.m.
