Car d'Lane cruise rolls Friday, show Saturday

Car d’Lane, presented by Mike White Ford, will light up downtown Coeur d’Alene this Friday and Saturday.

The classic car cruise and show will showcase more than 1,000 classics from 1980 and older. 

Cruisin’ by the Lake, the Car d’Lane Classic Car Cruise sponsored by Napa Auto Parts, is scheduled from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Friday. Cruisers will travel west on Lakeside from Eighth Street, north up Fourth Street, west on Wallace, south on Second, and east up Sherman, south on Ninth, east on Mullan and north up 11th. Experience roaring pipes and flames at Fifth and Sherman.

Rolling into Saturday, get a look under the hood at the Show & Shine sponsored by STCU from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. Awards sponsored by ICCU begin at 3:30 p.m. at Fifth and Sherman Avenue, with more than 20 categories. 

The show is on Sherman Avenue between First and Seventh, Front Avenue between Fourth and Sixth, and corresponding side streets. 

Weekend festivities include a Poker Walk from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Special sections of the show include the Young Builders Alley, Special Interest Lane and Coeur d’Moto. 

Online registration for the cruise and show is closed. Limited registration will be available for purchase from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday at 12th and Sherman. 

Poker Walk Passes will be available for purchase at the T-shirt booth Saturday in front of Rotary Centennial Park.
