Jimmie Mark Neils, 79
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Jimmie Mark Neils, a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend, who left this world May 20, 2025, at the age of 79. Born on April 5, 1946, in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, Jim lived his entire life in the beautiful surroundings of his hometown, where he touched the hearts of many.
Jim was the cherished son of Orville and Dorothy Neils and is preceded in death by his beloved parents and his siblings, Ron Neils and Jacqueline “Jackie” Adams. He leaves behind a legacy of love and strength through his family. Jim is survived by his son, Jimmie (Carrie) Neils, and his daughter, Nancy (James) Beebe, as well as his grandchildren, Alex (Ashley) Beebe, Eric Beebe and Skylar (Kate Dove) Neils. His heart was further filled with joy by the presence of his great-granddaughters, Clara and Shianne, who brought so much light into his life.
Throughout his life, Jim was known for his selflessness and kindness. He was a dedicated owner of a Furnace Sales and Service company, where he built lasting relationships with his customers. His devotion was evident in his willingness to assist anyone in need, even making middle-of-the-night visits to ensure their comfort and safety. His work was not just a job; it was a way for him to serve others.
Jim was a graduate of Coeur d'Alene High School and continued his education at Devry Technical Institute in Chicago, where he honed the skills that would serve him well in his professional life. His talents were further complemented by his active participation in the community, particularly at the Pathway Baptist Church in Coeur d'Alene, where he became a devoted member and friend to many.
In his leisure time, Jim embraced a variety of hobbies and interests that brought him joy. An avid bowler, he enjoyed participating in many leagues throughout his life. His love for the outdoors was evident in the fishing and hunting trips he cherished with his son, Jimmie. Jim also had a tender spot for his four cats, taking great pleasure in caring for them. As he grew older, he found delight in spending time with his family, listening to live music and immersing himself in the challenge of building 3D puzzles.
Jim's warm spirit and generous nature will be profoundly missed by all who knew him. His legacy of love, compassion, and unwavering support will continue to inspire his family and friends.
We express our heartfelt gratitude to Advanced Health Care of Coeur d'Alene for the exceptional care they provided Jim in his final days, as well as to Pathway Baptist Church for their unwavering support and English Funeral Home for the final preparations.
As we mourn his passing, we celebrate the incredible life he lived and the countless lives he touched. Rest in peace, Jim; you will always be in our hearts until we see you again.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Aug. 9, 2025, at Pathway Baptist Church, 3115 N. 15th St., Coeur d'Alene, ID 83814.
