Donna Lee Walker, 76
Donna Lee Walker, 76, of Kellogg, Idaho, passed away May 29, 2025. She was born in Wallace, Idaho, on June 15, 1948. Donna grew up in a loving family with her parents, Treffle and Lola Simard, her brother, John Davis, and her sister, Myrna Yount.
She graduated from Wallace High School in 1966.
Donna had a beautiful smile and infectious laugh. She was comical and extremely SASSY! She loved sewing, reading, music, fast cars, flowers, gardening and the Christmas party for the senior families in the community.
Donna worked as a clerk for Sass Jewelers for eight years, first under Vern and Katherine Sass, and later under Bruce Hanks. She then retired after 25 years at Yoke's in Kellogg, Idaho. This is where she became one with the community. Donna loved every person she met.
She enjoyed being in her flower garden, spending time with her grandchildren and pets.
She was a member of the Kellogg Elks and was very active in the Silver Valley Boxing Club.
She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Calvin Walker; daughter Missy Cochran (Mike Sparano); son Mike Cochran (Kari); daughter Tischa Huff; son Chris (Jamie) Walker; daughter Tina Glisson; plus numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Donna is preceded in death by her son, Kevin Walker, and grandson Joran Cochran.
A celebration of life and potluck will be held Saturday, June 7, 2025, at 2 p.m. at the Elks Lodge, 202 ½ McKinley Ave. West, in Kellogg, Idaho.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to your local animal shelter. Donna had a strong bond with her fur babies and would want all animals to have a loving home.
